The 2023 Sustainability Report Highlights showcases TSMC's execution of ESG initiatives alongside comprehensive data from previous years. The report not only underscores the focus of technology development and its benefits for product innovation, helping customers in accelerating their innovation, but also emphasizes nine United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). TSMC has embarked on 23 ESG initiatives and established 57 measurable long-term goals, leveraging both internal and external resources to maximize sustainability impact. Furthermore, beginning with five sustainability roles, the report outlines 50 achievements and 10 case studies from 2023, as well as recognition from domestic and international ESG rating organizations, transparently revealing TSMC's sustainability journey. Accompanying the report is a video that adheres to the annual design theme, featuring “wafer, ripple, impact” as visual elements to emphasize TSMC’s efforts in governance/economics, environment, and society. By continuously enhancing the global value chain, TSMC is committed to making a positive impact on the world.
