Committed to its People Vision, TSMC actively fosters an inclusive workplace. To enhance employees' inclusivity awareness and translate it into tangible action, the Company launched the "Inclusion Champion Program" in July 2024 in Taiwan. The six-month initiative received enthusiastic participation with a total of 149,565 engagements, cultivating 218 inclusion champions. Building on this momentum, TSMC hosted its 1st "TSMC Inclusion Day" in April 2025, recognizing inclusion champions and the Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) dedicated to the initiative with an awards ceremony and becoming a critical driver in strengthening TSMC's inclusive workplace.

From Awareness to Action: Harnessing the Power of Inclusion

To encourage employees to take proactive steps in promoting inclusion and to sustain its momentum, TSMC made a Global Inclusive Workplace Statement and launched the "Inclusion Champion Program." This initiative encourages employees to participate in lectures by experts, experiential activities, workshops, and learning videos, fostering self-awareness and empathy. Employees accumulate participation credits, which are linked to rewards in a variety of tiers. Through this bottom-up approach of engagement and feedback, TSMC nurtures a sense of belonging in the workplace, enhances employee retention, and empowers its workforce.

"TSMC Inclusion Day" not only publicly acknowledges individuals who actively participate in inclusion-related initiatives but also highlights the contributions of leaders and contributors from three ERGs in Taiwan that drive diverse talent development. These efforts demonstrate the accomplishments of TSMC's inclusion journey and continue to inject energy into the organization's growth and innovation.
