TSMC Supplier Sustainability Academy Reaches 1.2 Million Users, Driving Industry-wide Mutual Success through Digitalization
Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) endeavors to promote the management of sustainable supply chains. To this end, TSMC has created the TSMC Supplier Sustainability Academy, Taiwan's first open educational platform for the industry. The Academy was officially launched in January 2021, and in the 18 months after establishment it reached over one million users. As of December 2022, the Academy has received 1.2 million total users. TSMC is overcoming the limitations of time and space through digital transformation. Through the Supplier Sustainability Academy, TSMC is constantly enhancing suppliers' capabilities and resilience, as well as helping them build up better capacities for sustainability. Through this, suppliers can fulfill their pledges to build a responsible supply chain.

TSMC's Internal Contractor Work Management System, Operational Standards and Practical Experience are Conveyed through Seven Programs and 44 Courses
The TSMC Supplier Sustainability Academy's 7 programs and 44 courses are aimed at improving the sustainability of the supply chain. TSMC's operational standards and practical experience are conveyed through interactive animations, and the courses come with testing functionality to help users evaluate their learning efficacy. This way, more suitable courses can be provided to users based on their actual requirements, thereby accelerating the acquisition of necessary knowledge and resources and benefiting operational efficiency. Additionally, the TSMC Supplier Sustainability Academy also links to TSMC's internal contractor work management system to comprehensively manage contractors' entry into TSMC premises, which helps ensure operational safety. Since its launch, the Academy has received feedback from over 40,000 users, with overall satisfaction reaching 4.8 stars.
